As you know Facebook is constantly updating their systems, and they have brought back a feature that was for a time taken away - option to "Like Page" along with "Like Post, Comment & Share" right there in the users news feed.
The "Like Page" option on
Facebook Suggested Post
makes for a great user experience,
and an effective marketing goal.
For Facebook Marketing, I think this is a great way to build our audience. Making it simpler for prospects to not just engage with the post but to also 'follow' the Page and get future updates.
I like to think of a Facebook "Like Page" as a newsletter opt-in, the only difference is, Facebook is not a great delivery guy. Facebook delivers your "posts" only about 15-20% of the time and says, Edge Rank did it - their algorithm for delivery of your post. But, don't worry, they have a way to fix EdgeRank - by way of "Boost Post" ad option which maybe we'll discuss some other time.
Anyway, if you look at the attached image above, there are THREE important areas that you will find circled and that's what you need to focus on when building and ad and running a Facebook "Suggested Post" ad campaign.
- Your Brand Image - Your "Suggested Post" text - this is something you should plan as well - keep it short - less than 100 characters.
- Like Page - option
- Post Activity - post Likes, Comments and Shares
Those are the Numbers you need to measure.
